CEO, Per Espen Edvardsen
Per Espen Edvardsen (born 1964), has more than 20 years in engineering, construction, project management, design/developing, department management, marketing, mostly in the oil offshore industry. Mr Edvardsen is awarded 8 patents within drilling and fluid managements. Until he founded Siem WIS he was department manager in AGR Subsea AS, responsible for all subsea/drilling activities. Mr Edvardsen is a Norwegian citizen and resident in Bergen, Norway.
Director Business Development, Jan Atle Andresen
Jan Atle Andresen (born 1961) Mr. Andresen received his technical education while serving in the Royal Norwegian Navy and has been employed in the oil industry since 1986, with 10 years of offshore experience. Before founding Siem WIS, he had the position as Marketing and Business Development Manager of FMC Production Services, a subsidiary of FMC Kongsberg Subsea with the responsibility to introduce the RLWI services to the global market. He has also served in capacities of technical leadership for Halliburton, Baker Hughes Inteq and Gyrodata. Mr. Andresen is the current Director of the Board for the Bergen chapter of SPE. Mr. Andresen is a Norwegian Citizen and resident in Sotra, Norway.
Engineering Manager, Tom K Askeland
Tom K Askeland (born 1966), has worked over 18 years in the oil industry within, control systems, wireline and well interventions both as engineer, senior product engineer and project manager. The last 4 years, before founding Siem WIS, he has been involved in the development of FMC’s RLWI system and establishing the RLWI department within FMC Kongsberg Subsea, at Ågotnes outside Bergen. Mr. Askeland is a Norwegian citizen and resident in Sotra, Norway.
Quality Manager, Jan Trygve Hjelmaas
Jan Trygve Hjelmaas (born 1960), has worked over 17 years in the oil industry within, drilling, casing, topside wellheads, sub-sea wellheads, well interventions, well completions, marine operations and field development projects both as service engineer, project manager in Norway and abroad. He has also been involved in the development of FMC’s RLWI system and establishing the RLWI department within FMC Kongsberg Sub sea, at Ågotnes outside Bergen. The last 5 years Jan Trygve has worked in the FMC quality department with special focus on process and improvement issues. Mr. Hjelmaas is a Norwegian Citizen and resident in Sotra, Norway
Supply Chain Manager, Geir Ove Nordheim
Geir Ove Nordheim (born 1966), has worked over 20 years in the oil & gas industry mainly within supply chain management. His experience varies from the large rig building projects at Kværner and Aker to the subsea installation environment in Halliburton (Rockwater) and subsea system production environment in FMC. He has held different positions within supply chain management from Warehouse Manager for Norske Shell to Procurement Supervisor for Halliburton and Procurement Manager for FMC the last 3 years. Mr. Nordheim is a Norwegian Citizen and resident in Sotra, Norway.
